Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

Vista Physiotherapy and Massage is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Examine patients to gather information about their medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals.
  • Help physical therapists with exercises and treatments, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Order and manage supplies and equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing schedules.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., physiotherapy, healthcare, or a related field).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
