We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Alfié Construction Ltd.

The successful candidate will possess excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure. In addition, they should be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods.

This is a permanent position working 32 hours per week in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least one year of experience in drywall installation.

The salary for this position is estimated to be $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

The duties of this role include applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, cutting and installing metal corner beads, and fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists, and taping over joints using a taping machine.

For this position, we require dependability, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
