Key Responsibilities- Animal Care and Handling: Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, and surgeries, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion for our patients.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of our veterinarians, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
- Client Communication: Provide exceptional client service, educating pet owners on animal health care and addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Office Management: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
- Transportation and Travel: Assist with transporting animals to and from our clinic, ensuring their safety and comfort during travel.
- Education: Completion of a veterinary assistance program or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, with a strong understanding of animal behavior and handling.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a physically demanding environment.
