Construction Site Assistant

As a Construction Site Assistant at PNJB Construction Ltd., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites. Your primary responsibilities will include loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as assisting in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. You will also be involved in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Additionally, you will be responsible for leveling earth to fine grade specifications, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.

This is a permanent position, and you will work 35 hours per week. As a Construction Site Assistant, you will be working in a green job that involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. You will be working in a team environment and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
