Job Title: Registered Nurse - Flu Immunization
Company Description: Spectrum Health Care is a leading home health care provider seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work as a Flu Clinic Nurse in Toronto on a short-term contract basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee flu immunization clinics by assessing patient needs, preparing, and administering vaccinations.
- Provide aftercare instructions and related documentation; respond to flu immunization-related questions.
- Ensure that all patient documentation meets the standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures of Spectrum Health Care and the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
- New Graduates welcome.
- Experience with injections an asset.
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) (Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)).
- Ability to work independently in managing a caseload.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required (Additional language skills considered an asset).
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
