About the Role

The Dedicated Client Care Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for a select group of key customers at Genetec. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers via various channels, including email, phone, and on-site visits.
  2. Issue Documentation: Accurately document all customer issues in the Genetec CRM, Clarizen, and dedicated client SharePoint site.
  3. SLA Compliance: Ensure that all reported incidents are addressed in accordance with Genetec's Service Level Agreement.
  4. Account Management: Participate in regular management review conference calls with strategic accounts to discuss customer needs and provide updates on technical support.
  5. System Assessments: Conduct yearly on-site or remote system assessments for assigned strategic customer accounts to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Proactive System Diagnostics: Regularly perform proactive system diagnostics on clients' systems and provide detailed diagnostic reports.
  7. Issue Escalation: Escalate customer-related issues through proper channels to ensure timely resolution.
  8. Team Collaboration: Participate in Field Engineering, Solution Architect, or Project Management teams as part of a career development plan.
  9. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and articles to support customers and internal teams.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Genetec Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Genetec products with at least 1 year of experience supporting Genetec products.
  4. Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software.
  5. Multitasking and Adaptability: Ability to multitask, work iteratively, and adjust priorities of work.
Technical Requirements
  1. Windows Operating Systems: Excellent knowledge of Windows 8 and 10 & Windows server.
  2. Networking Principles: Excellent knowledge of networking principles and the IP protocol.
  3. PC Configuration and Troubleshooting: Experience with PC configuration and troubleshooting on Windows operating systems.
  4. Networking Equipment Configuration and Troubleshooting: Experience with networking equipment configuration and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Language Skills: Knowledge of Spanish or other languages.
  2. SQL Database Experience: Experience working with SQL databases.
  3. Certifications: MCSE and/or CCNA certification.
