The Research Chemist is responsible for supporting laboratory operations, equipment setup, and analytical method development in a GMP environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with established safe work practices and procedures.
- Participating in analytical method development, validation, and testing to support the development of liquid and solid oral dosage forms.
- Providing assistance and support for analytical activities, including method development, validation, and sample testing.
- Assisting in the execution of prototype and GMP stability studies in accordance with ICH or other regulatory guidelines.
- Preparing documentation for material specifications, standard operation procedures, and other necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of method transfer/validation experience.
- Expertise in GMP, GLP, and other Health Canada guidelines.
