Job Title: Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist

Join Bill Gosling Outsourcing as an Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist and contribute to the success of our clients by designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to ensure the success of our clients.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware to ensure the security of our clients' information systems.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches and ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to ensure the quality and security of our clients' information systems.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Resolve conflict situations and provide expert advice on information systems to our clients.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in information technology, preferably in a financial services industry.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
