Job Description

">

Supporting Stakeholders and Plan Sponsors

">

You will develop and execute annual account management plans for Trust/Affiliate level clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. This involves developing positive working relationships with all clients and client stakeholders, identifying service requirements, making periodic visits, providing claims information, and resolving issues as required.

Business Development

">

As a key member of our business development team, you will present finalist presentations and implementation working group meetings for new business accounts. You will provide recommendations and solutions for assigned client portfolios, analyzing renewals, overseeing documentation preparation, and ensuring final renewal notifications are executed.

Advance Organizational Understanding of Local Issues

">

You will identify and report emerging local or provincial issues and trends, including bargaining that will impact current and future benefits and/or service requirements. You will also make recommendations for enhanced attention for specific leaders or locals to ensure a positive perception of the OTIP brand.

Other Responsibilities

">

You will provide coverage for other Senior Account Managers as required and work closely with assigned Senior Client Relations Consultants.

Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you will require an in-depth knowledge of group insurance products, demonstrated by a minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry. You will also need expertise in group benefits plan design, including long-term disability plans, underwriting, and financial management.
