IT Field Service Technician

We are currently hiring for a contract I.T Field Service Technician job in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate would have good communication skills, be customer-friendly, and should be comfortable traveling long distances.

Responsibilities:

  • Uninstall monitors, docking stations, phone and cables at the desks.
  • Record serial numbers and move hardware to assigned location for the movers to pack up.
  • Installing on monitor arms – new dock mouse keyboard.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma and college or university enrollment/degree.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Familiar with personal computers/printers/wireless connectivity devices.
  • Possession of car for travel between locations.
  • Android 4.4+ or Apple iOS9+ or Windows Phone 8+ including a data package to receive emails and instant messaging.
  • Ability to lift a 50 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface.
