We're currently seeking an experienced Project Manager in engineering to join our client based in Laval. The role involves frequent travel between Laval and Montreal, along with proactive management of various projects such as the installation, modification, and validation of production equipment and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate must be flexible and available to manage evening or weekend work as needed by the projects.

Your Role

As an Industrial Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing manufacturing plans requirements and designing a detailed execution plan.
  • Overseeing the acquisition, installation, connection, and commissioning of production equipment.
  • Ensuring the modification and improvement of buildings (walls, floors, ventilation, fire protection, refrigeration, etc.).
  • Coordinating the installation and modification of service equipment (boilers, air compressors, factory ventilation, etc.).
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring coordination between various departments.
  • Monitoring project budgets and ensuring timelines are met.
  • Implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Drafting project reports and ensuring rigorous follow-ups.
Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of project management experience.
  • Membership in the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (or working towards it).
  • Experience with projects such as installing and modifying industrial equipment and buildings.
  • Bilingualism in French and English.

Compensation and Benefits
