Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physicist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will contribute to the advancement of quantum computing hardware, with a particular emphasis on the control and measurement of qubits.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and optimize high-fidelity quantum control protocols to enhance qubit coherence and gate performance.
- Closely collaborate with experimental and theoretical teams to integrate control solutions into quantum hardware systems.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to inform improvements in qubit control and system stability.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives to advance the overall performance and scalability of quantum computing platforms.
Requirements:
Qualifications:- D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on quantum information or quantum control.
- Extensive experience in quantum control techniques, including pulse shaping, optimal control, and error mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in programming languages commonly used in experimental quantum research (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex experimental data and apply theoretical models to guide experiments.
- Experience working with superconducting qubits or other solid-state quantum systems.
- Knowledge of quantum error correction protocols and noise characterization.
