About the Position

This role requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in control systems and mechanical systems analysis. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to deliver innovative, large-scale energy solutions projects.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with construction manager to develop RFPs for controls contractors
  • Perform on-site surveys of client controls and BAS during design phase
  • Analyze existing sequences of operation and mechanical system performance
  • Select and size major controls devices, such as valves, actuators, and sensors
  • Develop sequences of operation
  • Train clients' staff in use and maintenance of newly installed mechanical systems
  • Optimize operation of new and existing equipment and systems
  • Monitor completed projects for energy savings
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in control systems from leading integrators or manufacturers
  • Experience in Building Automation Systems (HVAC)
  • Ability to read and write BAS programming
  • Familiarity with major control systems
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work autonomously with good judgment
