Aircraft Deicer Job Description

Integrated Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Aircraft Deicer to join our team. As an Aircraft Deicer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient removal of ice from aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect aircraft for ice and frozen contamination
  • Apply deicing fluid to aircraft using specialized equipment
  • Ensure proper shutdown of deicing equipment and log maintenance issues
  • Participate in pre-planning for deicing events and perform equipment checks

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of IDS classroom and OJT deicing training

Work Environment:

The Aircraft Deicer will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes, and noise. Prolonged periods of standing and physical demands are required for this role.
