About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and food service helpers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage Records and Reports: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to stand for extended periods.
