About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Torrent (Redstone) Corporation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Collaborate with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Medication and Treatment: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, and ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  • Preventative Care: Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases, and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and respected.
  • Primary Care Coordination: Coordinate and manage primary patient care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services.
  • Acute Care Management: Provide acute care management, including emergency response and stabilization of patients.
  • Counseling and Support: Offer counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and reliable.
