Clovermead Farms Inc. is seeking a skilled Dairy Farm Worker to join our team. As a Dairy Farm Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our dairy cattle, as well as maintaining the overall efficiency of our farm operations.
Key Responsibilities- Animal Care: Disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses, handle animals, monitor animal health, perform livestock feeding, and treat livestock health issues.
- Farm Operations: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, supervise milking operations, ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, and maintain quality control and production records.
- Maintenance and Equipment: Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and operate equipment such as automated manure handling or storage systems, milking systems, tractors, loaders, and skid-steers.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, organized, team player, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and judgement.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks. They must also be able to work in all weather conditions and be physically capable of performing the duties of the role.
