About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Playground Construction Laborer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in processing large timbers, operating and maintaining our sawmill, and assisting our yard crew in preparing project kits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain our sawmill to ensure efficient and safe timber processing
  • Assist the yard crew in preparing project kits, including loading and unloading materials
  • Conduct daily maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and productive work environment
  • Participate in quality control checks to ensure high-quality products
Requirements
  • Must be able to conduct respiratory fit testing to wear appropriate PPE
  • Must use or wear the equipment, protective devices, or clothing provided by Earthscape
  • Must have reliable transportation to our site in Wallenstein
  • Must undergo safety training on safe work practices
  • Must wear an employer-provided uniform, including a high-visibility t-shirt
