Betterjoice Renovation Inc. - Drywall Installer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Betterjoice Renovation Inc. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and finishing surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Physically demanding work environment
Work Environment:
  • Commercial, industrial, and residential settings
  • Various locations, including construction sites and offices
  • Dusty, noisy, and physically demanding work environment
