About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill this critical position, responsible for developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, organizing workflow to accomplish work, and overseeing the operational logistics of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Tactical Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet business objectives.
  • Workforce Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work for a team of 11-15 employees, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, utilizing inventory control software to track and manage stock levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on warehouse operations, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar logistics or operations management role.
  • A college diploma or non-university certificate in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or business administration.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 hours per week. You will be required to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular exposure to heavy lifting and bending.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes:

  • A base salary of $50,000 per year.
  • Overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • A generous paid time-off policy, including vacation and sick leave.
