About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at SEAFOOD CITY SUPERMARKET. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meat: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Cut and Trim Meat: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for our customers.
  • Remove Bones and Grind Meat: Remove bones from meat and grind meats to create a variety of products.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train meat cutters and staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Prepare Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including custom cuts and packaging.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
