Accounting Technician Role at DOUBLE C MACHINE LTD
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at DOUBLE C MACHINE LTD. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30-44 hours per week.
