About the Role

Citrex Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Painting and Decorating Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule painting and decorating activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of labourers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all painting and decorating work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support painting and decorating projects.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in various locations, including construction sites, commercial and residential areas, and restoration sites.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, organized, reliable, and a team player.
