Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Jessica Sun/Vancouver Vacation Home. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Punctuality, client focus, dependability, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, and honesty
Work Environment

Our private residence is a non-smoking environment, and public transportation is available. We offer free parking and a permanent work term with 30 hours per week.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
