Energy Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Strategist to join our Business Unit Communications team at TC Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication plans to engage and inform external audiences and our employees about our projects and business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute communication plans to support business objectives and promote TC Energy's narrative
- Manage and execute campaigns across multiple channels to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure integration and alignment with target audiences
- Provide coaching and mentorship to drive team members towards collective success
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Post-secondary education in a related field (communications, journalism, public relations, business, etc.)
- 6 years' experience in communications, journalism, public affairs, or community relations
- Demonstrated experience in issue and reputation management and crisis communications
- Proven experience in project management and project development
- Strong attention to detail for content quality control and ability to produce high-quality products under intense deadline pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent use of prioritization and flexibility with changing priorities
- Tech and digital savvy with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms
