About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at BMO. As a Personal Banker, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their financial needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Financial Solutions: Offer advice and guidance on a range of financial products and services, including everyday banking, retail investments, lending solutions, and small business solutions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that customers feel valued and supported.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow BMO's business by building new relationships within the community and generating appointments with potential customers.
  • Risk Management: Apply the risk management framework to the portfolio to protect the Bank's assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the Bank's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
