We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Twig Fertility Inc. in a clinical setting. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory tests and results.
Key Responsibilities- Sample Collection and Preparation: Collect blood, tissue, or other samples from patients and prepare them for testing.
- Test Administration and Analysis: Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses, and examine the results to ensure accuracy.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document observations on patients' specimens and maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and results.
- Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Clean and maintain medical laboratory equipment, and perform routine maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that laboratory tests and results meet established quality control and assurance standards.
- Education and Experience: A college diploma or certificate in a related field, and 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
