We are seeking a highly skilled Funding Representative to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and validity of Conditional Sale Agreements and Loan Agreements related to approved Indirect Loans.
Key Responsibilities- Verify the validity and accuracy of Conditional Sale Agreements and Loan Agreements in all respects.
- Resolve discrepancies by communicating with Credit Analysts and/or dealers to make corrections.
- Refer exception funding situations to the leadership team for review and resolution.
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships.
- Understand and adhere to the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls.
- Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask while utilizing numerous operating systems.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring seamless accuracy of all documentation being reviewed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully engage with customers and build sustainable relationships.
- Previous customer-facing experience, phone or other, is preferred.
- Completion of post-secondary education (college or university) is preferred.
- Previous administrative and document management experience is an asset.
Pursuant to a language needs assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English and French, as they will serve English-speaking clientele.
