About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at HEM RAJ SACHDEVA. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home remains safe and comfortable.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and medication management, as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
