About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Specialist to join our team at PTW, a global services company that collaborates with video game developers and publishers through outsourced production services. As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of European Spanish language content in our games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proofread and identify European Spanish language errors in our games
  • Ensure that our games adhere to console manufacturer guidelines
  • Write detailed reports of errors and bugs found to help improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to ensure it meets our high standards
  • Verify that the game runs smoothly by identifying missing or incorrect content
  • Perform ad hoc translations as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Native-level proficiency in European Spanish
  • Strong cultural understanding of Spain
  • Excellent proficiency in English
  • Basic proficiency in French
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
