Job Summary

Broadway Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and overtime required
  • Travel: Willing to travel for extended periods and overnight
