Eastern millwork & contracting ltd. is seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, data analysis software, and database software.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with scanners and other office equipment.
- Area of Specialization: Accounting.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, adaptability, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 40 hours per week.
