Greenhouse Horticulture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Horticulture Specialist to join our team at Andersen's Nursery. As a key member of our greenhouse operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our plants.

The successful candidate will have experience in greenhouse management, with a focus on crop care and maintenance. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, often standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.

• Seed cutting and preparation
• Weeding and pruning
• Planting bulbs and seeds
• Potting and repotting plants
• Transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings
• Cleaning work areas

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong understanding of greenhouse operations and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also need to be physically fit, as the job requires standing for extended periods and performing tasks that involve heavy lifting and bending.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a rural setting and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. You will also need to have reliable transportation to and from work.

We offer a competitive salary and bonus structure to our employees. The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience.
