The Clinical Nutrition Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of residents at Park Place Seniors Living. Key responsibilities include:
• Assessing residents upon move-in and annually to complete a comprehensive nutritional assessment, considering their needs, abilities, and goals.
• Working closely with the Food Services Manager to plan and approve menu options, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and resident preferences.
• Providing expert advice on swallowing assessments, diet textures, and feeding techniques to support residents' nutritional needs.
• Educating residents and their families on therapeutic diets and nutritional concerns, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Monitoring the quality of food served and implementing improvements to enhance resident satisfaction.
• Coordinating MDS data entry and ensuring accurate documentation of resident information.
• Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, driving excellence in care delivery and service standards.
Requirements:
This role requires a university degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field, as well as two years of recent experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
