About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Operations Manager to lead our pharmacy team.

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of our pharmacy, including providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, practicing to full scope in providing professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in the maintenance of the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers.
  2. Practice within federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements and maintain accurate records as necessary.
  3. Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  4. Manage inventory, workflow, and patient confidentiality while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  5. Involvement with financial reports and filing incident reports when necessary.

  • Independent thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth and lead by example.
  • Strong customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including formulating and executing action plans.
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems a definite asset.
