We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Instructor to join our team at North Vancouver Recreation & Culture.

As a Sports Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports programs to residents of all ages and abilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, including early years and school-age children, youth, adults, and seniors.

Our ideal candidate is a team player who is committed to community and has a passion for sports. You will be responsible for lesson planning, delivering quality instruction, and promoting the principles of physical literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sports programs to residents of all ages and abilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons
  • Promote the principles of physical literacy
  • Work with a diverse group of people

Requirements:

  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Athletic aptitude
  • Experience planning and leading programs
  • Current Emergency First Aid certification or equivalent 8-hour course
  • High Five certification (available online through BCRPA)
