We are seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to work in our General Adult Inpatient Mental Health services in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified consultant psychiatrist to join our team and contribute to providing high-quality mental health care to patients in need. As a locum consultant psychiatrist, you will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychiatric services to inpatients in the General Adult Mental Health Service
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or eligibility to apply
  • FRANZCP or equivalent and ability to register for specialist registration with the MCNZ
