About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing healthcare services to clients in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans to support clients in achieving their occupational goals
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to promote clients' independence and functional abilities
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program
  • Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
  • 3-5 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent experience working with acute clients and/or long-term clients with a focus on chronic disease management
  • Home Care experience
  • Intermediate level of computer skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
