Job Title: HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and overhaul heating systems
  • Install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
  • Troubleshoot heating systems
  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Provide customer service
  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Perform maintenance such as recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems
Requirements:
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate
  • Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-50 hour workweek. You will be working on-site with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
