Physiotherapist I

This is a dynamic opportunity to join a team of rehab professionals at Alberta Health Services.

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist I to provide therapeutic interventions and enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence.

The successful candidate will provide intervention, including prevention, triage, screening, assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, treatment, management, education, consultation, and case management to individuals, groups, populations, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence
  • Collaborate with patients and families in determining, implementing, and evaluating appropriate rehabilitation strategies
  • Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement
  • Contribute to quality improvement and professional community; participates in peer mentoring; and supervises students

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program

Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta

Additional Required Qualifications:

Member in good standing with the college of physiotherapist of Alberta with no practice restrictions

Member of the Canadian Physiotherapy association (CPA)

First aid prior to first day of work

Alberta drivers' license and automobile in good working condition

Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year

Based on experience and qualifications
