CareRx is a leading provider of specialty pharmacy services to seniors in Canada. With a large network of pharmacy fulfillment centers, we deliver medications in a timely and cost-effective manner. We work closely with our home operator partners to promote resident health, staff education, and medication system quality and efficiency.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulated Pharmacy Technician to provide quality assurance support to our pharmacy locations in British Columbia and Western Canada. The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of Kroll, pharmacy repackaging equipment, and long-term care data entry practices. This role will work from home but will require travel to pharmacies for support activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support quality assurance activities, including data entry, prescription technical checks, and packaging checks.
  • Complete final checks for new admissions and prescription checks for new residents.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of demographic and prescription information.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Adhere to all company and store policies and procedures.
  • Meet legislative requirements within the scope of practice as a regulated pharmacy technician.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacy regulated technician.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term pharmacy regulated technician.
  • 2 years of experience as a pharmacy data entry assistant in Kroll is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication, data entry, and calculation skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
