Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Sales Professional to join our team at Transat AT. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in helping our customers plan and book their dream vacation.

About the Role

You will be responsible for advising clients on travel options, promoting new business opportunities, and meeting established sales targets. To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong knowledge of travel industry trends and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on travel options offered by our various partners
  • Network and promote new travel business and grow your repeat client base
  • Meet established monthly and yearly sales and revenue targets
  • Determine specific client needs and source solutions using all tools available
  • Sell travel packages in all product categories including the preparation of complex itineraries using various booking platforms (Apollo; Sirev)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience within a retail environment and consistently meet sales targets
  • The ability to influence through effective sales and prospecting techniques while building friendly and positive business relationships
  • Advanced communication skills combined with an outgoing and energetic nature
  • Experience leveraging social media and learning new software quickly
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule, available to work outside of normal business hours to attend trade shows, conventions, and business events or to complete any agreed upon task
  • The willingness to obtain your TICO or OPC for agencies in QC certification if you do not already have it
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also enjoy travel privileges to discover the world and work in a modern, inspiring environment.
