We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at Thinkpivot. This role is based in our data center in Etobicoke, where you will be responsible for daily operations, including service provisioning, customer service ticket management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain IT infrastructure, including network, storage, and compute systems.
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of data center infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide end-user support to customers and employees.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of new systems and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need practical experience in Linux Systems Administration, as well as at least two of the following:

  • Storage administration, including FC/FCoE, iSCSI, and NAS protocols.
  • Virtual infrastructure, including VMware, Hyper-V, or other.
  • System administration, including Windows.
  • IP networks, including LAN, WAN, BGP, VPN, and wireless technologies.
  • Security, including firewall and network security.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and has a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems administration.
