Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-language Pathologist to join our team at Revelstoke Health Centre in Revelstoke, BC. As a Speech-language Pathologist - Early Childhood Development, you will work with children aged birth-to-school entry and their parents/caregivers, providing screening, assessment, intervention, coaching, and education in all areas of speech, language, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in screening, assessment, intervention, coaching, and education in all areas of speech, language, and communication with children aged birth-to-school entry and their parents/caregivers.
  • Collaborate with other professionals from the Ministry of Children & Family Development (MCFD), Ministry of Education (MoE), and local community organizations.
  • Work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and their caregivers, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support children's language and communication development.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-language Pathology or related field.
  • Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
  • Experience working with children aged birth-to-school entry and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
