Energy Manager

At BGIS, we are committed to delivering innovative facility management and real estate services that enable our clients to succeed. As an Energy Manager, you will play a key role in our team by developing and executing energy projects that drive sustainability and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of energy saving projects, identifying opportunities for energy retrofit and recommending energy-efficient solutions.
- Conduct energy assessments and analyze building automation and control systems data to identify low-cost/no-cost opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a low-cost/no-cost energy program, working with facility managers and driving tenant communication and engagement.
- Ensure optimal building performance by conducting energy audits, re-commissioning scopes of work, and carrying out high-level audits remotely and on-site.
- Support energy reporting by quantifying, tracking, and reporting on all energy savings initiatives to internal and external parties.
Requirements:
- Community college diploma or university degree in engineering or energy and building system technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing energy and/or delivering energy retrofit projects in facilities.
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and deploying energy conservation measures in commercial buildings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading consulting teams and project management.
