Strategic Leader for Data and Analytics

The Vice President, Strategy & Operations - Data & Analytics will lead the development and execution of the Data Strategy, driving the organization towards a data-driven culture. This role will partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure alignment and effective delivery of data and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the Data Strategy, aligning with business objectives and driving data-driven decision making.
  • Lead the Data & Analytics roadmaps for data architecture, responsible AI, and data use, ensuring optimal efforts with other enterprise programs.
  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to build trusting relationships and ensure alignment across initiatives.
  • Build and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to upskill data and analytics capabilities across the organization.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights on complex data sets to inform business strategy and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure the success of data and analytics initiatives.
  • Manage and direct staff and matrixed resources to accomplish key deliverables.
  • Prepare status reports for various stakeholders and develop formalized presentations for executive briefings.
Mergers and Acquisitions:
  • Lead the engagement for D&A on all mergers and acquisitions.
  • Partner with corporate development and finance teams to identify data and analytics opportunities and risks in potential M&A transactions.
  • Develop E2E data and analytics M&A integration plans in consultation with D&A LT teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in operations, business, computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with a strong focus on large-scale program management, transformation, and/or delivery.
  • Experience in data and analytics and strong understanding of the role in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Expertise in MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud database design, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with a variety of distributed systems patterns including data caching, federated search, event driven, synchronous and asynchronous processing.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, machine learning, and analytics platforms.
