Job Title: Food Processing Quality Control Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Control Technologist to join our team at AAHAR FOODS INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, setting up chemical experiments, and compiling records for analytical studies. They will also assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards, participate in safety audits, and inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure adherence to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses to ensure quality standards are met
  • Compile records for analytical studies and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards
  • Participate in safety audits and programs to ensure a safe working environment
  • Inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and implemented
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and quality assurance principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will be required to work overtime and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
