About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Dimitri's Pizza Steak & Seafood. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used, providing valuable insights for our kitchen team.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for use in our kitchen.
