Prolium Industries Ltd specializes in providing exceptional tank cleaning services to the oil and gas industry throughout Canada. With a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction, we are seeking an experienced Tank Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, seasonal position with project-based work that requires travel throughout Canada. The successful candidate will oversee the safe and effective removal of products from large-scale petroleum storage tanks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health and safety of all personnel by enforcing policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • Plan and execute cleaning activities at customer facilities, coordinating with operations teams and clients to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Manage and complete all required paperwork, including job reports, LEMs, billing, safety forms, drivers' logs, KPIs, journey management, and other related documents.
  • Liaise between operations and client teams, communicating project progress and any changes or issues that may arise.
  • Assist with training and mentorship of field employees, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members under direct supervision, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.

Key Requirements

  • A valid Class 5 driver's license is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in tank cleaning and confined space entry is required, with automation cleaning considered an asset.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • They will also have proficiency in computer skills, specifically software related to the role.
  • Additionally, they must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Possession of required safety tickets, including Leadership of Safety Excellence, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry and Rescue, CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Standard First Aid, is mandatory.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company. This is a temporary full-time position, with projects lasting from 1-6 months.
