About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Merchandising Team Lead to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for elevating the visual merchandising and in-store communications execution within each store to ensure consistency and compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and manage the execution of merchandise placement to maximize sales and customer engagement.
  • Implement all visual merchandising to comply with global brand retail standards, ensuring a high standard of presentation in windows, floor space, and in-store communications.
  • Collaborate with the local retail marketing department to support special projects, floor moves, special events, and corporate requests.
  • Train associates on presentation standards at a flagship level, ensuring a high level of adidas service is given to each customer.
  • Manage the opening and closing of the business, including cash handling and daily cash audits.
  • Perform or assist in the completion of all documentation associated with applicants and new hires.
  • Assist management with preparation of hanging and tagging of product to be prepped for display on sales floor.
  • Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system and ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of in-store visual merchandising leadership experience, preferably in a sports/fashion environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
  • Proven passion for visual merchandising, strong organizational and project management skills, and a good eye for style, coordination, and attention to detail.
